I am having a serious problem with the many Romani activist and influencers who are on about how the Israeli children need protecting from Hamas and all that while not even sparing a thought for the children of Gaza murdered by the IOF let alone for Amare Chave who are in peril in so many places.
It is our own Chave especially that should come first and foremost and then those of other oppressed people, considering that our People, Amare Chel, once were victims of fascist genocide. But no, the political capital can, presently, in so many places only be obtained by supporting the “correct” political causes and, apparently, supporting the genocide by the IOF in Gaza is the right one.
When it comes to helping Amare Chave and bringing them to safety where needed they are not just inactive; they are actively preventing others from doing just that, going so far, in fact, as to threaten those that are trying to help with violence and more.
And why is that so? Because for one there is no political capital to be made there and two, and that is most important, because they need the status quo so they can pretend that they want to do something while at the same time creating phantom projects for which they can get money to line their own pockets and those of their families and cronies. In addition to that, according to some information, some of the “leaders” are actively involved in trafficking those Chave for nefarious purposes. We have no firm suspects so far but two little victims safe with a Manouche family in France.
I spit on those people, and we all should. They are marhime and palechido.
Amare Chave are the future of Amare Chel and those that need our help should get it, so far as to bring them to safety with loving Romani families and individuals in other countries even. The time is now, not tomorrow. Actually, the time was yesterday. If spiriting them across borders is illegal in the eyes of the Gadje so be it, but it must be done if and when necessary. And, it may be necessary. Then again what do Gadje laws mean to us when the survival of Amare Chave is concerned? They should mean kek.
I know a number of Romani families and individuals who would be willing to give a loving home to some Chave that could be brought out, in the UK and elsewhere, myself being one of them, prepared to raise them in the Culture, and even Gadje families who are willing to do that.
I have the means, little that they are, to keep and raise one or even two, but not a way to go and rescue them myself, and the same goes for most of the other contacts. But we must find a way.
