
The European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) invites applications for the position of Thematic Section Coordinators for 2026. This internal call is open exclusively to ERIAC members who wish to take an active role in supporting the work of the Institute and its membership community.
ERIAC is seeking five professionals – one for each of the following thematic sections:
- Arts and Culture
- Media and Information
- Research and Publication
- History and Commemoration
- Romani Language
The Section Coordinators play a key role in encouraging dialogue and cooperation among ERIAC members, strengthening engagement within their thematic field, and contributing to the implementation of ERIAC’s mission and strategic priorities. They serve as a bridge between ERIAC’s management, the membership community, and the ERIAC Barvalipe Academy, facilitating meetings, gathering feedback, and supporting members’ active participation in ERIAC’s activities.
This is a remote consultancy position open exclusively to current ERIAC members. The total consultancy fee for the mandate period is 4,800 EUR (gross).
Eligibility and Requirements
- Active ERIAC associate membership
- Proven professional experience in the relevant thematic area;
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Romani language is an advantage, and a requirement for the Romani Language Section);
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with ERIAC management;

Selection Procedure
The call will be open from 13 to 27 October 2025.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview with ERIAC management in early November.
Selected Section Coordinators are expected to attend the Tajsa event on November 29, and their engagement will begin in December with preparatory coordination meetings.
The official start of the mandate will be in January 2026.
