This call for proposals is launched in the framework of the Council of Europe Strategy for Roma and Traveller Inclusion (2026-2030). It aims to co-fund international projects aimed at ensuring equal rights and dignity for Roma and Travellers through implementing and enhancing capacity-building measures for legal practitioners and civil society organisations on handling racially motivated crimes, hate speech and discrimination cases with a focus on Roma and Travellers, and including gender-based violence, sexism and intersectional discrimination faced by Roma and Traveller women and girls.
HOW TO APPLY?
Please read carefully all documents of the Call
Documents to be submitted:
- the completed and signed Application Form (See Appendix I) – please also provide a copy of this document in Word;
- a provisional budget (using the template reproduced in Appendix II) – please also provide a copy of this document in Excel;
- a list of all owners and executive officers, for legal persons only;
- the other supporting documents:
- CVs of the proposed coordinators;
- document certifying the registration of the entity;
- bank /financial statements authorised by a financial officer of the applicant;
- contact details of referees.
If any of the documents listed above are missing, the Council of Europe reserves the right to reject the application.
The application form, completed and signed by all Grantees, together with the supporting documents, must be submitted in electronic form (Word and/or PDF) to the following e-mail address: roma.team@coe.int. Emails should contain the following reference in subject: Call for proposals “Equal rights and dignity for Roma and Travellers”.
Applications must be received before 23 March 2026 5 p.m CET. Applications received after the above-mentioned date will not be considered.
