ERIAC is excited to announce the launch of the Barvalipe Academy Election 2024! This is your opportunity to help shape the future of ERIAC by electing 8 new members to the prestigious Barvalipe Academy—a powerhouse of strategic and inspirational thinkers!
The Barvalipe Academy is more than just an advisory board; it’s a community of visionary leaders who drive ERIAC’s goals and values forward. Next year, one Barvalipe Academy member will also be selected to join the ERIAC Board. Two-thirds of the Academy members will proudly represent Romani communities, and we ensure a gender balance representation.
What’s Happening?
ERIAC needs YOU to help elect 8 outstanding members (2 from each of ERIAC’s 4 sections) to join this dynamic team. The process is entirely online, making it easy for you to participate!
🗓️ Mark Your Calendars!
- October 5-13, 2024: Time to nominate your champions!
- October 19-27, 2024: Voting Time! 🎉 This is when your voice matters.
- December 5-6, 2024: The results will be announced, and Associate Members will vote in the General Assembly to appoint up to eight representatives to the Academy for a three-year term.
How Can You Get Involved?
- Nominations (October 5-13): Keep an eye on your inbox! We’ll send out a link for you to submit your nominations via Google Forms.
- Voting (October 19-27): After the nominations are in, it’s time to vote! You’ll have access to the candidates’ bios and personal statements, so you can make an informed decision. Detailed instructions will be provided to ensure a smooth process.
- Results Announcement (December 5-6): The moment we’ve all been waiting for! We’ll reveal the winners and celebrate our new Barvalipe Academy members with the entire ERIAC community.
